The Collectables range is a collection of limited edition handbags designed by Lulu Guinness. Lulu has created around thirty exquisite collectables to date, every one hand finished by highly skilled craftsmen in England. Every bag is part of a series of 200 or 500 and is individually numbered inside. Once the end of the series has been reached these handbags are no longer made and are therefore much sought after. Each unique design reflects all aspects of Lulu’s vibrant personality, from old-style glamour girl to domestic diva, all with her signature wit and charm.

The ‘House’ bag was Lulu's first collectable, created in 1997. Inspired by the country cottages in her native England, with its red roof and hand-embroidered doors and windows it was crafted in a limited edition of only 200. This edition sold out several years ago and can now only be bought at an auction or from one of the 200 original collectors, unfortunately even Lulu doesn’t own one of these early handbags.
The Lulu Guinness Royal Exchange store in London has also been captured on a collectable. It has an embroidered black and white awning on the lid of the bag and tiny Lulu Guinness appliquéd handbags in the windows.

The fan bags are beautiful clutch bags in the shape of an open fan, that have appeared at many celebrity award ceremonies on the likes of Sophie Dahl, Trudi Styler, Helena Bonham Carter and Rachel Griffiths. Designs include the Arches fan, which has intricate ivory embroidery with tiny beaded detailing and the Painted Fan with hand painted roses and leaves. The latest fan bags include the beautiful nouveau rose fan, with beautiful colourful embroidery and the diamante fan, a stunning bag covered with Swarovski crystals.

Lulu Guinness’ signature rose baskets and bouquet bags are part of a range of high end bags. while the Rose Basket handbags are not limited edition, their appeal is timeless. These bags have appeared on the arms of some of the most influential celebrities including Madonna, Elizabeth Hurley and members of the British Royal family. The Lulu Guinness range of rose baskets are now so coveted that many examples, such as the picnic rose basket, are now found in museums across the world including the Victorian and Albert in London and the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston

Known for her witty character and attention to detail, here's some of Lulu's favourites.
