China Art Museum
There isn't just pretty art inside this building - the outside is a site to behold too. Featuring an intricate design, the beautiful red exterior is well worth a visit. The museum, also known as the China Art Palace, it is the largest art museum in Asia at 1,790,000 square feet.
Graffiti Road on Xinle Road
This original wall is the work of seven art students who were aiming to promote the idea of “modern Shanghai, nature, fashion and dreams”. The artists covered up layers of illegal advertising stickers and transformed the 100-metre-long wall of the quiet Xinle Road alley into a one of a kind creation.
This destination is sure to make you smile when it opens this coming June. With a whole host of laughter-inducing attractions and famous funny Disney characters running around, the humour and entertainment will be non-stop at this new theme park.
The Community Center
In Shanghai and wish to support a charity? Head to the Community Center, a philanthropic building which supports a number of causes in the city. The centre has the motto “Connect, Inspire and Empower Internationals in Shanghai”.
Situated in the heart of the Lujazui financial trade zone, this cutting-edge building houses HSBC and two office towers, as well as a six-storey mall of more than 110,000 square metres.
