Bridget Riley’s incredible op art has long been an inspiration for me, heavily influencing and helping to shape some of my past collections. With that in mind if you’re in the London area next week I would recommend visiting her ‘The Stripe Paintings’ exhibition for a little bit of print-spiration! Exhibiting at the David Zwirner gallery from Friday 13th June – Friday 25th July , the exhibition promises to be an edit of her very best work from all periods of her career, from 1961 to 2014…
…and if that Bridget fix isn’t quite enough then you can also head down to the Tate Modern on Saturday 21st June, to hear Bridget discussing Henri Matisse’s cut-outs museum exhibition – who so happens to be another of my all time favourite artists! I’d love to hear your thoughts so don’t forget to tweet me @luluguinness.
Love Lulu x
