What’s New…Malevich Exhibition

The first retrospective of his work in 30 years, not to mention his first ever in the UK, this week we headed down to the Tate for a look at Malevich’s ‘Revolutionary of Russian Art‘. It reunites his works from the US and Europe to tell the story of the power of art and revolutionary ideals.

Most famed for his painting ‘Black Square’, revealed to the world after months of secrecy, Malevich is described as having created one of modernism’s defining works. Responsible for the invention of suprematism, an art movement comprising of abstract geometric shapes and stark colours, he continues to inspire well in to the 21st century. If you’re out and about in London this weekend it’s well worth a visit. LGHQx
