Are you an Instagram addict or incessant Tweeter? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Social Media Assistant to join the Lulu Guinness PR and Marketing team. Supporting the Social Media Editor, responsible for developing and implementing social media strategy, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day running of social media activity for Lulu Guinness and LULU by Lulu Guinness.
A paid 6 month placement based in West London; this is the perfect opportunity for a graduate with a combined passion for social media and fashion to gain valuable entry-level experience within the field.
Assist the Social Media Editor with the day to day running of social media platforms for Lulu Guinness and LULU by Lulu Guinness
Work with the SME across a range of activities including community management and ad-hoc opportunities across the rest of the business
Create engaging imagery for all platforms in line with brand strategy and tone of voice
Research and create content for inclusion across all platforms including ‘Lulu’s World’
Help to compile monthly reports to be shared with the senior team including the board and shareholders
Keep up to date with, and monitor new trends in social media / technology feeding back to the wider team on a weekly basis
Proactively seeking opportunities to leverage the brand based on the current news agenda, i.e. joining trending topics of conversation on Twitter etc
Assist with general admin support
Skills and experience
Enthusiastic, proactive, organised and motivated
Educated to a degree level
IT confident with a solid understanding of key social media platforms
Creative with a great eye for detail, able to style product for the purpose of Instagram etc.
A competent writer, able to adapt their writing style in line with the given brief
Possess a genuine interest in fashion, keeping up to date with the latest industry news
