Lulu's Impossible Story

Impossible is responsible for breathing a new lease of life into analog instant photography, having purchased the last factory in the world that manufactured Polaroid instant film. Over the summer I visited their creative headquarters in Berlin where I was lucky enough to meet the faces behind the brand, and thus The Lulu Perspective was born.

Art and photography have always played a key role in my life. From my late teens and well in to my adult they’ve continued to influence many of my designs over the span my career. At the age of 19 I was given my first Polaroid camera which I took upon myself to personalise with my then initials LRC; Lucinda Rivett-Carnac. Decades later and I am so delighted to be celebrating my 25th anniversary by revamping one of my most treasured objects in collaboration with the incredible team at Impossible.

25 years is a huge milestone so I’m beyond thrilled to be celebrating with a collaboration which allows me to incorporate my love of photography with my love of art and design.
