Things to do, things to see…Marlene Dumas: The Image as a Burden

This month sees South African born artist Marlene Dumas present her latest exhibition at London’s Tate. ‘The Image as a Burden’ is a collection of Dumas’ unique work showcasing her distinct painting style in which she paints from pre-existing images rather than direct from life.

Her work includes contemporary figures such as Naomi Campbell, Amy Winehouse and Princess Diana making her one of the most prominent and influential painters working today. It’s a must-see for any avid art fan! For further information and tickets click here.
