JOB OVERVIEW
To develop and manage all brand social media activity for Lulu Guinness globally. Focused primarily on producing content and social engagement for Lulu Guinness using all relevant social media platforms. Along with implementing the brand tone of voice through copy writing across various brand touch points including email and Lulu’s World.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
BUSINESS SKILLS
Competent liaising with external sources and internal teams to ensure content is both socially and business relevant
Maintain constant communication with the rest of the PR and Marketing team to ensure all offline press and marketing information is cross pollinated from offline to online
Involvement in photo and video shoots throughout the year. This includes creating real time content for social platforms live from shoot
Confident copy writer, producing unique tone of voice for Lulu Guinness globally
Build strategy to drive social media engagement for Lulu Guinness globally
Feeding into weekly department update meetings, reporting on progress and utilising other department information where relevant
Delivering individual tasks whilst maintaining focus on overall objectives
Demonstrate best practice in managing communications and quality standards
Drive best practice behaviours and works as a team to meet Lulu Guinness objectives to maintain integrity and reputation
Represents the Lulu Guinness and acts as an ambassador at events, corporate initiatives, networking, etc.
EXPERTISE SKILLS
Image production and selection for use across all social media platforms
Management and execution of all brand relevant social media posts and schedules
Awareness of social media trends and how to plug into this for Lulu Guinness globally
Creative input and briefing copy and artwork concepts
Confident in negotiating
Creating and collating written content from various internal and external sources for use across all social media platforms
Copywriting for PR/marketing assets and online editorial content
Helping departments internally to enforce correct use and application of the Lulu Guinness brand across social media platforms
Evaluating and reporting on the effectiveness of engagement, social media traffic and focused social media projects
KEY RELATIONSHIP (INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL)
Maintain and develop strong working relationships with key industry figures such as celebrities, editors, agencies and event planners
Maintain and develop relationships with Lulu Guinness international franchise partners
Internal departments: Marketing and PR, Ecommerce, Merchandising, Design and Sales
PERSON SPECIFICATION
The ability to work autonomously; using your own initiative and being pro-active is essential
Exceptional written English and verbal skills
Promotes a positive, professional image in the office and out with clients and contracts
Attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and to deadline
Results driven with a commitment to working to high standards
Confident, enthusiastic, motivated
Minimum 3 years experience
