Nobody could’ve anticipated how successful Lulu’s first Waitrose shopper would be. In its first week, sales exceeded that of eggs and milk! It quickly became a must-have item. And now, Lulu has designed a brand new Tote, set to hit Waitrose stores on 19 June.

 

"I'm so thrilled to bring the Lulu Guinness Tote to Waitrose. We were overwhelmed by the success of the first bag and so pleased everyone loved it”, says Lulu.

 

“For this bag, we’ve kept it quintessentially Lulu using our signature colours of Lulu Red, Chalk and Black, this time with a chessboard design. It’s fun but also chic. Spot the L-shaped check mate pattern in the board!”

 

Like the first bag, the new tote will also be made recycled plastic bottles and caps. Each bag is made using 13 bottle and 14 caps.​

 

“I also love the fact that the bag is made from recycled bottles and bottle tops, as well as being great quality and highly stylish”, says Lulu. “I can't wait to see everyone sporting theirs in my local Waitrose shop”.

Available in Waitrose & Partners and selected John Lewis stores, The Tote Bag also comes sturdy woven branded straps. The red lip tag is made from recycled bottle tops and the tote bag has an inside zip pocket – in other words, not your usual throwaway supermarket tote bag.
